Higher Education in Prison Advocacy Day - February 27, 2023 @ 11:30AM
Join the Beyond the Box team alongside lawmakers, students, and community organizations at the State Capitol in Room 216 CAP!
​
Partners from across Georgia will be sharing insight from their prison education programs and their reentry programs to educate the public on the importance of education. Participants will engage in hands-on advocacy training by meeting with their legislators in their offices and 'on the ropes.'
Second Chance Week April 4-9
Stay tuned for the Beyond the Box, GACHEP, and GSUPEP team on your campus! The first week of April, our team and our partners will be engaging students for Second Chance Month - a month to acknowledge reentry barriers for formerly incarcerated people.
